Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Firesurv Group ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") for fire safety services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Firesurv Group provides fire safety and compliance services including but not limited to:

  • Fire Risk Assessments
  • Fire Door Inspections, Installation and Maintenance
  • Passive Fire Protection Surveys
  • Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Testing
  • Fire Safety Training
  • Competent Person Advisory Services
  • Fire Extinguisher Supply and Servicing

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your premises
  • Grant reasonable access to areas requiring inspection or assessment
  • Inform us of any known hazards or restrictions on site
  • Act upon recommendations provided in our reports within appropriate timeframes
  • Maintain your own fire safety records and compliance documentation

4. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on the scope of work discovered during assessments. Additional work beyond the original scope will be quoted separately.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at 8% above the Bank of England base rate. For larger projects, staged payments may be required.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed service cost. No-shows will be charged in full.

7. Report Delivery

Assessment reports are typically delivered within 5-10 working days of the site visit unless otherwise agreed. Reports remain the intellectual property of Firesurv Group but may be shared with relevant parties for compliance purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our assessments and reports are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection and information provided by you. We are not liable for issues that were not visible or disclosed, or for changes occurring after our inspection. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

9. Professional Indemnity

Firesurv Group maintains professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the services we provide. Details of our insurance cover can be provided upon request.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law, with your consent, or to regulatory bodies where necessary for compliance purposes.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials, methodologies, and documentation created by Firesurv Group remain our intellectual property. Clients are granted a licence to use reports and documentation for their own compliance purposes only.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
